Gornjogradske priče (Upper Town Stories) is an interactive project designed to introduce Zagreb’s history to third and fourth-grade elementary school students.
Children, dressed as characters from Zagreb’s past, are guided through the Upper Town by professional actors who embody historical figures and characters from city stories and legends. Through play, children actively participate in the learning process by exploring Zagreb’s cultural and historical landmarks, making the experience both fun and engaging.
With Gornjogradske priče, we created a platform for cooperation between schools and cultural institutions, encouraging children to actively engage with cultural and historical topics. By linking school curricula with cultural experiences outside the classroom, the project received recommendations from the Ministry of Education and the Agency for Science and Higher Education.
We are responsible for the entire project production, including the development of educational content, technical execution, logistics, and coordination with educational institutions.
