Pop-up drama
Pop-up drama is an art project and urban intervention. Simple, but visually attractive theater sets built solely from discarded material found at city dumps are placed in frequented public spaces across Zagreb. Constructed sets are used for short theater performances.
The created scenes promote anthological works of Croatian drama literature and authors biographically and/or thematically connected to Zagreb, reinterpreting recognizable urban environments. After the performance, the sets remain for several days on location, with passers-by invited to photograph themselves and create their own tales to be published on social networks under the hashtag #PopUpDramaZagreb.
